We’ve got a half dozen races on the agenda for this weekend, including a Pro All Stars Series in Hickory, N.C., in which CV Products is the title sponsor. We’ll tell you more about that race on the legendary Hickory Motor Speedway later, but know this: We’ll have our semi-trailers filled with racing parts and accessories at all six venues between now and Sunday, in case you think we’re playing favorites. But if you are at the Hickory track, stop by and tell us what great sponsors we are. See you at the races!
ZLOOP 150
Aaron Grosskopf, the 23-year-old founder of DisabledRacers.com, is the grand marshal for Friday’s ZLOOP 150 at the Kentucky Speedway. Aaron was diagnosed with cerebral palsy as a tot, but works today to help the disabled get behind a wheel and race. His friendship with ARCA rookie Justin Boston led to this honor on Friday. DisabledRacers.com involves the disabled with simulated racing.

KENTUCKY 300
Saturday marks the return of the NASCAR Nationwide Series to Kentucky Speedway for the Kentucky 300 with Sam Hornish hoping to stretch his lead over Austin Dillon in the points race. The race is the series’ sixth and final standalone event of 2013, and Hornish and Dillon are looking pretty good considering there aren’t any NASCAR Sprint Cup Series drivers in the field. A win here on Saturday could greatly assist either driver in the final seven races of the season.

SYLVANIA 300
Denny Hamlin has earned a spot in the NASCAR postseason seven times in the past seven years, but in this, his eighth year, his luck — or talent — ran out. Joining him in defeat is Brian Vickers, another racer who won’t be competing for the 2013 NASCAR Sprint Cup. But they’ll both be at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway this Sunday, hoping for a win and the chance to be a spoiler.
