CV’s Everywhere with Upcoming Pit Stops in Phoenix and Austin

CV-Products-TracksideFollowing the thrilling action last weekend at Daytona Beach, it’s looking like this will be a short weekend for our product trailer crews with our participation amounting to just three events in a pair of states. The schedule calls for us to make our way to the Circuit of the Americas racetrack in Austin, Texas, and Phoenix International Raceway in Avondale, Arizona over the first three days of March.

We only mention this in case you’re attending any of these race venues and have a hankering for some of our outstanding equipment, parts and clothing. When we say we’ve got trailer loads of stuff, we literally mean 53-foot-long tractor-trailers filled to the brim with racing products to please race participants and spectators alike.

Here’s the events we’ll be attending this weekend:

GRAND-AM of The Americas presented by GAINSCO and TOTAL

Qualifying day is Friday, March 1, for the Pro Mazda, Continental Tire Challenge and Rolex Series races, with practice runs beginning at 8 a.m. sharp! The final qualifying race begins at 6 p.m. Then, on Saturday, March 2, spectator events include a Continental Tire Challenge Fan Walk in pit lane and an autograph session prior to the Rolex Series. The 2.5-hour Continental Tire Challenge gets underway at 10:05 a.m., followed by the Pro Mazda race at 1:10 p.m. The 2.75-hour Rolex Series race begins at 3 p.m.

When: Friday, March 1 and Saturday, March 2

subway_fresh_fit_500_logoSubway Fresh Fit 500

The Subway Fresh Fit 500 at Phoenix International Raceway is the second stop on this year’s Sprint Cup Series schedule and one of only four NASCAR Cup Series events measured in kilometers instead of miles or laps. Jimmie Johnson, the winner of the Daytona 500 this past Sunday, holds the record for most victories at Phoenix with four. Johnson won three consecutive races at this track (2007 through 2009) and he also won the spring event there in 2006.

Dollar-General-200-LogoDollar General 200 Fueled by AmeriGas

The Dollar General 200 Fueled by AmeriGas is the featured event for the third day in Phoenix International Raceway’s March race weekend with the green flag dropping at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 2. Kyle Busch enters this NASCAR Nationwide Series event with a solid performance record at Phoenix that includes seven wins and six poles across all three of NASCAR’s premiere series.
